Help Build NMAFC’s
Forever Home
Sustaining Healing and Community for Generations
For nearly twenty years, the New Mexico Asian Family Center (NMAFC) has served survivors, immigrants, and families from rented offices and borrowed spaces—constantly moving, adapting, and making do so that our community could continue to access care. In November of 2024, we found our forever home and purchased our very own building!

Now, for the first time, we have our own permanent home — a healing-centered space designed for the safety, privacy, and wellbeing of the communities we serve. Our new building will ensure that language-accessible, culturally tailored care will always have a place in New Mexico. Over the past year, we have been working to get the building ready for us. The most urgent renovations necessary to move into the building are due to be completed by the end of 2025, and we hope to be operating from our new home by early 2026!

We are launching a capital campaign to help with the costs of this first phase of renovations, create a building maintenance fund, and seed a fund that will enable us to plan for the next phases of the project. Help us raise funds to renew and maintain NMAFC's newly acquired "Forever Home." Here's how:
1. Donate: Every contribution helps to ensure that NMAFC clients and community members will have access to a safe and welcoming "Forever Home" to receive services and participate in community programming.
-
Campaign Goal: $500,000
-
Impact of Giving: Donations fund construction and renovation costs (accessibility improvements, safety upgrades, community spaces) and build a sustainable building maintenance fund for long-term stability.
2. Share: Share our campaign with your friends and family so that we can amplify our impact.
